Huge big warm hugs to that mum, that letter really touched my heart. Thats what true love is, and I know that if my son/daughter came to me and told me they were gay it wouldnt change a thing to me, id love them because its who they are.
I felt that mums pain in realising that her son was being hurt by the cruel looks and jibes from parents. From the moment your child is in your arms you know you'd die for them rather than see them hurt in any way.
some people don't realise that their comments are a form of bullying. That little boy has a mum that will be strong for him I just hope that I can protect my sons and daughter from the cruelness of others at 5 years old x

Yea, I saw this story the other day and have to say good on that mum. People are idiots, and bowing to their bull would be sad indeed. The sad thing is that the 5 year old has to experience those idiots. But with a mum like he has, he'll be well equipped to deal with the narrow-minded fools of the world.
