thank u friends.. its baby girl- Vaanya means god's gift.. did u like the name!
i had water discharge slight on 18th night at 7:30pm at 37weeks 5days, went to doc at 9:30pm, with no other discharge or contractions, just for check up..
she examined and told its 2cm dilated and soft, advised complete bed rest , get admitted, wait for spontaneous contractions.. discharge was increasing..
i slept at 12am and at around 2:45am had mild contractions.. i felt like going to loo (sorry tmi).. repeatedly..
and contractions were getting worse with only 2-3min durations.. i was only 3cm dilated with severe pain at 5:30am, so we decided for epidural anaesthesia.
its a miracle.. i got rest for around 2.5hrs, best phase.. contractions were monitored on comp with baby and my heart beats..
at 8:30 in morning, i again regained contractions pain and doc examined its 5cm dilated.. so no top up of anaesthesia.. i was given saline iv, and was under observation.
at 9.30 dilation completed to 10 cm but baby was in position 1, my main doc examined and found my bladder was full, so she used catheter to empty bladder and make space for baby to rotate..
baby came to position 2 at 11:30, after pushes..head can be felt at exit by me as if someone hand is stuffed...
and still it was transverse.. so they made way for her by making a small cut transvere to avoid tear.. and then i was asked to give final push.. with help of all docs and nurses who were pressing my baby bump too to help me in pushing .. thanks to them.
and baby came crying , i was exhausted completely..
its best experience looking at baby..she was healthy 3kg wait.. thankfull to god for its blessing..
my advice to all friends.. please try to push when u feel pain is worse..
i made mistake by pushing at start of contraction during whole period untill my main doc pointed out,, push whenever u feel maximum contraction or doc tells u to , and with all force ..
hope this will help someone..
