Got thrush, what can I do?!

Darn, I've got thrush, am 7 weeks, what do all you ladies recommend?

You can use canesten cream and you can use the pessaries but don't use the stick to insert it just use your finger. I had it a lot with DS and found that sleeping with no knickers on helped a lot.

I heard you couldn't use the pessaries? My pharmacist a few months back asked if I was pregnant and told me I couldn't use it if I was. I can't see the cream doing any harm though.
You're probably better off asking a pharmacist to be honest.

A good wash in a cool bath without using any soaps or anything usually soothes it for me.
Nasty stuff though, hope it gets better soon!

My doctor said it was best not to use the stick so the pessary doesn't irritate the cervix.

I was also told you can use the pessary with your finger and also the cream, but you mustn't take the oral tablet.
