Just thought I'd post some good news, since sometimes I seems like all we hear about scans are negative.

Mesa was measuring 5 days ahead, and they said 99% that she's certainly a girl! All heart/kidneys/brain/etc look perfect and she's already 1 lb!

Lay on the table crying, just in awe of the miracle of it all. Wishing every a happy and healthy 40 weeks! :cloud9:

Great news! I cried on the table this time too...and took a lot to hold it together and not turn into a blubbering cry, lol!

I had a great 20 weeks scan too and definitely don't think we hear those "all went well" stories enough on these boards. I didn't get my girl...another boy!...but have made peace with that and just really excited for my baby.

Thanks for sharing your great news cookette! Love the name Mesa!!

Love her name what a big healthy girl, so happy to read this! congrats. :flow:

How lovely :) so glad all went well and it was an enjoyable experience.

Excellent! I was dissapointed at my 12 weeker, overly clinical, overly quiet and done by someone with no ounce of enthusiasm. but 20 weeker better! and I too am having a girl, so another new experience.

Amazing news!! Congrats on a healthy, perfect daughter :)

Wonderful news! Thanks so much for sharing! :) <3

Congratulations! It's a good feeling to have the 20 week scan out of the way isn't it, I feel like I can relax and enjoy it a bit more now :)

Mine was great too! Baby measured exactly on target of gestational age, so I guessed my ovulation correctly I guess haha
Was most excited about the posterior placenta because I can feel every kick from him, it's cool!

Congrats on a healthy baby!!! That's wonderful news! I love the name you chose

Thank you! It was hard finding one the OH liked too.
