My Father-in-law was diagnosed today with cancer in his kidneys that spread to his heart.

I find myself mourning for my husband and crying a lot. Are these negative emotions going to hurt my unborn child?

I lost my mam at 8 weeks pregnant i am 12+4 now i cried and cried and i still do it never seemed to harm my baby i was so angry, stressed etc.

Sorry to hear about your father in law (hugs) x

I'm not sure hun but wanted to say sorry for your loss:hugs: The ladies on the forum with family losses that I can recall all seem to be okay so hopefully that's some comfort.

My grandmother passed when I was 32 weeks pregnant with my daughter. I cried for quite a while and was very upset. My daughter is one of the happiest little munchkins I've ever seen. I think so long as you're not depressed day in and out of the entire pregnancy it should be just fine.
