Gulping air?

When my little man eats, sometimes a few sucks after starting out on his bottle, he sounds like he's taking in a big gulp of air. He pulls off and cries. Do you think that sounds like the flow is too fast (he's been on stage 2 for a couple weeks, but didn't have a problem initially), or I should use a different kind of bottle, or any other suggestion?

It might be that the flow is too fast. I would try using the stage 1 again and see if makes any difference.

Hmm Elyse sounds like that but she's still on the slow flow ones..

I switched her to Dr. Brown's bottles this week and haven't had as much of a problem. She is sucking furiously at them though still which I think was the reason she was getting so much air, well sounding like it, from the other bottles. She's not ready for the next stage yet though - tried, and the flow was way too fast for her
