Our baby girl is a week old today she has started guzzling her bottles as if she's never been fed or as if we're going to take it from her. This causes her to have really bad trapped wind.

We started her on tommee tippy close to nature for two days & we're now using Dr Brown bottles & infacol before every feed. But she seams to be making her own air bubbles by how quick she feeds not from the bottles.

She's also up pretty much every other hour given we have to change her feed her then how long it takes to settle her after a feed. I know all babies suffer with wind but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Feeling a little helpless & very emotional given lack of sleep & raging hormones

What milk is she on? I'd try aptimil comfort, it's thicker so she won't gulp it down and it has refused lactose so gentler on tummies and hopefully she will be settle easier after a feed.

Could be reflux though?

She's on a mix of my expressed milk & aptamil first milk.

My LO has been gassy since 2 weeks, we still deal with it but when it's bad where you can tell she is super uncomfortable I will lay her across my legs and gently bounce my legs while rubbing her lower back. Also I will rub her abdomen in a clockwise motion gently to help. She's a guzzler too, I think maybe 2 out of her 6 bottles a day she actually relaxes and eats normal.
