guy sent to jail for killing daughter first time he had her alone

just watching the news- guy just been jailed for 5yrs for killing his 25day old daughter the first time he had her himself.
and they wonder why some of us get freeked out about fob seeing baby when they have a violent personality?
its a friggin joke!
they need to crack down on that. its wrong on so many levels.
huge example of what could happen.....

i am even more determined now and think i would actually take drastic actions to stop it happening

To be fair, it was an accident and he 'frantically' tried to save her after 'slamming her down' on her changing mat too roughly as he was annoyed at her crying. It wouldn't of hurt a normal baby, but this baby had a fractured skull from a difficult birth, he must not have realised how careful he was supposed to be with her.

Still awful though, and makes me feel sick to my stomach, epsecially when i think about the poor poor mother

Me too to be honest! I remember when i first felt Bella kick when i was pregnant, and i was all excited and told FOB to come feel her, but he said to wait until he finished playing his stupid computer game, and then he would feel. I did try to explain that baby will probably not be kicking by then but he couldn't have cared less. Humph.

i didnt want to upset anyone by posting it, it just really upset me and i was shocked.
i know not everyone sees the news and would maybe have missed it.
i think its important to a lot of us as we're in that situation and have the same fear
