Had my sweep....

Oh my, I'm so excited.... I had a stretch and sweep three hours ago & now i'm having a bloody show...... Hoping I may meet my little one soon

how was the sweep? i have one this afternoon and dont know what to think about it, is it quite sore or just uncomfortable?

I had 3 sweep's with my first, i think it depend's on the midwife that does it, my 1st and 3rd were done by the same midwife, and really hurt, made me cry, but the 2nd was done by a different midwife, and to put it lightly, she could of stayed there all day lol
Regardless, it only last's a few min's, and most people just find them a little uncomfortable! Good luck with your sweep dlcamore

Had mine this morn! Really wasn't too bad, despite what others have said. I kind of wanted it to hurt to know she was doing something! Have become weird pain-craving person... Nothing doing so far, tho feel a teeny bit crampy and sore down below. Pleeeeeeeeease let this baby come soon!!!!

I didn't find the sweep painful at all, although thats maybe because i was expecting it to be really painful - i almost didn't have it because i was so scared, then my hubby said "Amy, your going to kick yourself once we leave if you don't get it done" i'm so glad he said that because i know i would have been sooo cranky with myself for letting my nerves get the better of me.

Well, i thought it was my bloody show last night.... but nope i think its happening now (this morning)- alot more then last night and a little different more slimey (sorry TMI).

So the waiting game continues..............................................
