Had the dating scan today :)

Well, the NT scan but we didnt have the NT test so

But yes, everything went fantastically well and we saw the little baby wiggling around. the detail was amazing, she zoomed in on its little head and it was waving its arms around in front of its face, it was incredible

also, much to my delight, she moved my dates back to my original dates and then some, so i am now due on the 3rd oct and am 13+4, officially in 2nd tri!

Im just... so over the moon right now. i know that miscarriage and loss still happens after 1st tri and its not the magical trimester that automatically means you're safe but just to know the risk has dropped significantly, and having seen a gorgeous wiggly baby and a strong heartbeat (and heard the heartbeat too!!) makes me feel a million times better SO happy now, so happy

Im sorry ive not been around recently, supporting you all as i should have been. i have kind of been avoiding BnB because i was thinking about babies and all of the risks and bad things that happen way too much and having a break was what i needed to just relax and enjoy my pregnancy. but i will make more effort to stop in here and check in with you girls.
