Half dose clomid 25mg - effects on ovulation??

Hi Ladies

This month I was told by my FS to halve my clomid dose to 25mg as my progesterone was so high on 50mg.

I was on 50mg clomid cd2-6 and ovulated cd 18, my progesterone is VERY high and i get quite swollen painful ovaries around ovulation.

I wondered whether anyone else has done this and what the effects on ovulation were ... im not cd 16 and getting lots of in and hoping that i ovulate soon!!

Congrats on the baby! I am going to be starting 25mg of clomid for delayed ovulation. It's so great seeing posts where this dose worked.
