Hi all, I'm trying to get organised for weaning as HV suggested we might not make it to 6 mth.. I'm gutted as wanted to do BLW but for the meantime gonna do pureeing.

I was wondering whether there's a particular hand blender which is good for purees? I've got an ancient thing off my gran and its a bit poor! Can I just get a cheapo one from argos or would you guys suggest paying a bit more for a decent one? Thanks x

I don't like how my hand blender does it.
Luckily I already owned a food processor, and I find it works much better.

Not what you were asking, but my HV said Ruby would need weaning at 4m and she's still happy on milk at 5m and showing no signs of getting hungrier, so you may make it to 6m! Fingers crossed eh. We want to do BLW too.

I love my handblender, its got a little chopper/processor too. (In fact so far I've only used the processor bit for AJ's food and the handblender for the cream on my trifle - much faster than whisking!) https://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4219914/Trail/searchtext>HANDBLENDER.htm
