Very pleased to hear the UN has named today 'Malala day' in honour of Malala Yousafzai, the teenager who defied the Taliban and attended school despite threats against her life.
What an amazingly girl, so brave for fighting for a basic human right in today's society .
The UN has also announced a 'reward' for families, $2 per month for every child who attends primary school.
32 million children denied the right to education worldwide , 5 million in Pakistan. I understand it being a different culture but surely it benefits families for the children to get education?
