Hard belly scared!

My 15 month old came down with the stomach flu....followed by days of diarrhea....so we went on the BRAT diet....only to end up constipated....
poor guy....he eats well, but has only pooped a couple times over the past few days....for the past couple days his tummy protrudes, is hard and his belly button sticks out....im terrified something awful is wrong - i have tot take him to the clinic tonight cause enougn is enough....im so scared he has a serious problem like a tumor or something (i googled)
help me please im going out of my mind at work

It is very unlikely to be a tumour- but please take him to the clinic tonight.

Obviously take him and get him checked out but just to reassure you I've had issues with my son's toilet habits for months and he will quite often go for a whole week without going for a number 2 by which time his stomach is very sticky out and swollen but usually sorts himself out
