I had an emergency c section last Monday and over all I'm doing really really well.

Not experiencing pain just the odd stinging sensation and my insides feel bruised if I try poo (tmi)

But I noticed behind my scar my tummy feels hard in places almost like one side has a hard lump about the size of a small ball (smaller than a golf ball)

Is this normal. Is it just scar tissue forming. Xx

Hmm I got two of those and turned out to be wee haematomas (pockets of blood) caused by heavy lifting too soon after section  they can reabsorb themselves usually if they are small but in my case they were a bit too big and ended up causing my wound to break down a bit and I had to have antibiotics. Might not be the case for you though, it's worth getting midwife or doctor to take a wee peak though. Xxx

Yup heamoatoma.... I'm in a lot of pain with it but it's not bothering my wound touch wood. Not sure of there can be anything that's a cause for concern with one? Or if it's all normal having pain.

Not to scare you hon but my tummy felt like it was full of rocks. Turned out i had quite the infection there. Get yourself off to midwife/doc and get some antibiotics. It does clear up but you need to take them x

Hmm I'd be concerned that if they are pretty sore that there might be some infection there. It's the skin reddened or hot to touch? I imagine a small degree of discomfort is normal with a haematoma but it's worth getting doctor to keep an eye on if especially if it's not getting any better or if it's getting worse. You maybe need some antibiotics xxx
