Mummy to a little Angel

Good morning everyone 
Hope everyone is well. After waiting for what seemed like forever my gorgeous little girl was finally born on her due date, the 19.09.2012 at 4.20 am.
Thought id share my story with you all for those of you still waiting for your little arrivals.
So I woke up on Sunday night at about 2am with period like cramps that kept coming, I waited until 3am before waking my other half incase it was nothing. We were both so excited we couldnt get back to sleep but they werent getting any closer together so Lee still got up and went to work at 7.
The cramps were there all day and I also started loosing my plug. That night I couldnt sleep because the pain kept waking me up so at 4am we went to the hospital who confirmed I was 4cm dilated, they sent me home and told me to come back when the contractions got closer toghether and more intense.
That afternoon I went for a walk round the park to try speed up the contractions then had a mcdonalds! About 2 oclock that afternoon I went back into hospital only to be told I was still at 4cms! They decided to keep me in for observation as my lips were a bit blue and my oxygen level was low.
Anyway I got to 6-7 cms on paracetomol then at 8cm I was transferred to the delivery room and I had 2 codine. I had wanted gas and air but found it made me sick so didnt have it in the end. I was managing the contractions by bouncing on the birthing ball. However when she came back to check me she thought babys heartrate was dropping so I got taken to the high dependancy ward and put in an awful cold room hooked up to the monitor and they gave me the drip to induce me as they wanted baby out.
I started crying at this point as my natural labour was out the window and I couldnt move to escape the pain of the contractions because I had to stay hooked up.
As the pain got worse I asked for the meptid injection as my plans for natural labour were out the windown anyway by this point as the pain was quiet bad. All it did was make me feel light headed and drunk and didnt help the pain at all.
I pushed and pushed but I couldnt get her head out, I remember pleading with then to give me forceps to help get her out but they wouldnt. They ended up cutting me as she was stuck but she also ripped me quiet badly when she appeared and I started haemorraging.
I dont remember much after that because I lost so much blood I was practically unconscious for the next 4 hours. It took 3 drips full before I could even open my eyes. I had to be stitched internally and im ripped from top to bottom literally but id do it again in a heartbeat.
Shes perfect, she weighed 6lbs 13 and has loads of dark hair! Its sooo worth it in the end. Anyway just wanted to share for all those who are still waiting, hang in there girls!

but apart from that im back to normal,
u rest up hun and enjoy being a mummy to ur beautiful little girly
