So, my husband and I have tentatively agreed on Harrison for our baby boy's name, but we can't seem to find a middle name- coming up with Harrison was hard enough as it is!

I would like to avoid most names beginning with a vowel as our last name begins with G and don't want to give him initials of HOG, HAG, etc., and would also like to avoid J names because hubby and I are both like 12 year olds trapped in adult bodies and H.J. Goodhart is humorous in a rather juvenile way....lol

Ideas?

George
Charles
Jack
max
jake
Joseph
benjamin

Brett
David
Dean
Dylan
Dax
Gene
Garth
Kim
Kai
Kyle
Louis
Lyle
Michael
Mark
Neil
Peter
Quinn
Robert
Richard
Saul
Steven

I don't get it??

Harrison Scott
Harrison Kyle
Harrison Kade
Harrison Paul
Harrison Michael
Harrison Tyler

I just googled it, had to search a bit - lol. I don't think that's a common reference ppl will get. I think if you like the name Harrison James you'd be ok, haha.

A HJ is totally a reference everyone will get! I had a friend with the initials BJ and that was also humorous in a juvenile sorta way :p

Harrison Blake

I love this one.

Clearly I've been listening to way too many Beatles songs today because I immediately thought "Harrison George" :D

I definitely think it should be a one syllable middle name.

I like Harrison Blake too. Harrison is on my list and he'd be Harrison Alec.

Harrison William
Harrison Lee
Harrison Blaize
Harrison Michael
Harrison Kai

I reeeeally don't think most people will see the HJ reference lol I am also a 12 year old in an adult's body and I was so confused until someone referred to BJs. Assuming this is the reference you're talking about, nobody calls them HJs? It doesn't really work as a word the way BJ does. Of course if that's all you can see, it doesn't really matter. If I have a boy I couldn't name him Elliott B. because his last name would start with an M, and EBM is a genre of music I like. I know nobody would see it but me but I could never unsee it haha.

My friends named their son Harrison James, I think James is a but overused but it's classic and pretty. I think Harrison needs a one syllable or three syllable middle name but that's just me!
