Which spelling do you like better ~ Hartley or Heartly? I know most would spell it Hartley but what about Heartly? I want a unique name for my daughter but nothing weird. Also do you think the name is a unisex name? :flower:

In my eyes it's not unisex...at least it shouldn't be. It belongs only on a girl.

As for spelling...neither one is crazy spelling so either way looks fine to me.

Hartley, and I'd consider it unisex, but more appropriate for a boy, as I think of Coleridge's son.

Hartley, I find the other spelling really weird.

I find Hartley unisex, but more feminine than masculine, and Heartly feminine. I prefer Hartley.

Sounds like a girls name to me. Both spellings look fine I like Hartley or Hartleigh if you want to be really unique :)

I'd say it's more feminine; especially with the Heartly spelling.

I REALLY prefer Hartley spelling or like PP said, Hartleigh looks nice too.

I prefer Hartley - the other way looks odd to me. I'm not a fan of changing up the spelling on names to make them different x

I don't really like the spelling Heartly

Hartley sounds like a boys name to me - but most people thought girl so I'm in the minority there :)

I too think Hartleigh is cute! X
