has anybody else had bruised boobs during their pregnancy?

i know your breasts usually hurt during pregnancy, and also get bigger, and i'm experiencing both of these. But I noticed yesterday that the underside of each breast is bruised bluey / purple. I just wondered whether this was something other people had experienced or am I on my own

Well bloodflow increases to that area... I have all kinds of blue veins showing through my skin all over now (not just breast areas either, all over)... maybe that's what you are seeing? And my breasts certainly FEEL bruised!!! They hurt sooooo badly!!! I have to wear a bra to bed at night now because it helps protect them... they hurt soooo badly!!!

thanks hun - poor you being in all that pain Hopefully in a few weeks time they may stop hurting.

maybe it is just a heap of veins. there are a lot of veins all around. but it does look more like bruises though. or maybe my massive boobs don't like being squashed into a 32B cup bra! i don't know what to do with them! it seems to early to go buying new bras though as i don't know whether they'll get bigger. my OH is particularly pleased with this symptom

LOL! You seriously made me laugh with this post. I am so glad I read it as I have had a ROUGH day today!!!

Maybe you could buy one bra that fits now and handwash it daily? I know it's annoying but I am pretty much doing that with one of mine right now. Luckily though, I have bras of all shapes and sizes from B cup to DD, lol..
