hey guys so still havng serious wind probs poor maiya is now screaming when feeding(ot at all feeds but some if shes got a bad case of farts) so trying everything in my power to help her ive taken her to the doctors and they say no nothing wrong with her, so i remember being told i was allergic to milk as a baby so ive cut everything out of my diet and it seems to be working the rash on her face is disappearing the farts are alittle less im hoping ive cracked it, so my question is does anyone have to do the same??? i love soya milk, but am missing cheese so much are there any alternatives, same thing craving yogurt, didnt realise how many foods have hidden dairy in them as well hot choc boo hiss.

yes i have cut dairy out. helped LO with his wiond/colic lots. I'm hoping to reintroduce it now he seems over the worst of the colic but i'm nervous.

I was told to not assume soya milk is a good alternative - it can also be a culprit in causing colic/wind in babies :-(

I've cut out all foods with dairy where I can but if something does containa bit of milk and I eat it I dont panic - like the occasional bit of chocolate and biscuits (an essential for any mum i say!...). I try and avoid it mostly. and chose dark choc when i can!! ;-)

I miss cheese and cream too. But am assuming this will only be a short lived thing - babies tend to outgrow colic by 3 or 4 months. At 3 months my LO suddenly improved.

all sorts of silly things have butter or milk in I've found - such as hot dog sausages!! and some sunflower spreads still do....its annoying.

yay im not alone found soya yogurt yesterday yum but nearly hd a fit when pretty much everything else in tesco had dairy in it still if it tames the windy colic its so worth doing my little seems better but ive probably got to wait awhile for it to really work:hugs:

ps i miss cheese boo hiss

No.I just eat in moderation but dairy is a known culprit for colic for some babies.

I haven't cut anything from my diet, if i eat too much chocolate that does seem to upset her but its probably a good thing for me otherwise i will get too greedy!

I've found that too Whisper, it also seems to make her poo alot more, it's not diahhrea though. I think it may also upset her belly a little bit. It sucks coz I eat alot of chocolate too, lol :(
