has anyone ever done egg sharing?

Hi,

we have been looking around at IVF and the like, and this egg sharing thing keeps coming up. i was wondering if anyone has ever done this and how you went about it?

Yeah ive done 3 egg share cycle and hopefully our 4th in apr/may tike.its best to get some info on afew clinics.some criteria is different from one clinic to the next.one will take pcos patients whilst another one wont.also watch out on prices.dont go for one where you have to pay for things like the drugs and consultants ect.at my clinic if you just want ivf youll only pay for the hfea fee.other than ansa and dh bloods youll have to pay and also frezin youll have to pay.if you want to be an eggsharer you have to fit requirements.like under 35yrs old.no history of hiretory(wr sp lol) diseases.bmi less than 30.fsh less than 10 and things like that.maybe go onto the hfea website and have a look.

Due to a gentic issue I have now been referred to the Lister for egg donation by my sister...I am really wondering if you can tell me anything about your experiences there... I really don't know what to expect and how much it all costs...can you help?
