Has anyone had a bleed around ovulation time?

I'm trying to be so patient but I just have to ask if anyone else has experienced this.

I had a d&c on Feb 6th. I started temping right away so I could see when I ovulated and it was 17 days after surgery and all seemed perfectly normal. So we started ttc this current cycle.

All seemed to be going well. I started seeing some fertile mucous on cd10. So I started using OPKs. They were all negative for ages and I actually thought I had ovulated around cd14, which is normal for me. But on cd15 I woke up, stood up, and so much watery cm came out of me that my underwear was soaked. This never happens. It was clear just like water. Every time I stood up, for about 3 hours, more would gush put of me and it started to go reddish/pink. But it all stopped after 3 hours and back to normal. I thought I must have had my first ever ovulation bleed. But then that afternoon on cd15 I got a positive opk! And on cd16 I had a little more fertile cm, not much though. Today is cd17 and I still see no temp shift to indicate ovulation and this has never happened to me at all, and I have charted my cycles for years.

At the beginning of my cycle I was surprised that my temp didn't drop right down to around 36.5 where it normally hovers pre o. My post o Temps are always around 37 degrees.

Does anyone know what is going on? Did I have an ovulation bleed or could something be wrong to cause me to have that bleed?

Rmsh, I had an O bleed last month, but I was literally a spot when I wiped after o pains a bit earlier in the day. Sounds like it might be an o bleed and all the cm 'watered it down'. Maybe the lh surged started late eve on the cd14 and you missed the start of the lh surge bc the test was earlier in the day, O'd late evening on cd14 or early cd15, had the o bleed, and caught the lh surge on the 15 on the opk. That is the Sherlock Holmes in me coming out to investigate the case. Ha! Since you can o 12-36 hours after the start of the surge it makes sense. Maybe tomorrow's temp can confirm the o. I suck at reading charts so hopefully some of the other lovely ladies on this site can help with the interpretation. Good luck!

Thanks :) I thought I would have seen the temp shift by now if I o'd on cd15. I did think maybe I saw the LH surge late, but I really would have expected to see the temp shift by now. My charts have always been so clear to read too! I just have to stop being so impatient and see what the next few days of temps brings....

I had something similar. I don't temp as I work nights so can't temp at the same time each day. However I do track cm and do opks.

I had a D&C on February 26th. I also have PCOS so my cycles aren't very regular (though much more so than they were a few years ago). March 22 I had a questionably positive opk (hard to tell for me sometimes, my last pregnancy had no obvious positive opk but definitely got pregnant with a heartbeat at 7 weeks but sadly had a miscarriage at just over 11 weeks). I had noticed ewcm so decided to start using opks. On the 25th, I had what I suspect were ovulation pains on the left side in the morning. Then later that evening had some spotting when I wiped a couple of times. Yesterday I also had some light spotting when wiping. The ewcm has continued but opks have been negative.

I have never had ovulation bleeding. I've had implantation bleeding and this was similar although lighter. Hoping that it's a good sign!

Fertility Friend gave me cross hairs for CD17 but I question whether I did ovulate on CD 15. I will know when/if AF arrives as my LP is always 13 days. I hate ttc :)

:)
