Has anyone had a high tea party?

Random question but Lucas is off out with his auntie tomorrow last minute so iv decided to invite a few friends over for high tea.

What did you make/ give them to eat.

So far iv made a tray of mixed sandwiches, need to go out tomorrow and buy some cakes etc

Do you think cupcakes, a few different cakes (bought) and maybe scones?

Cant think of anything else?

Yes definitely scones and clotted cream, cupcakes then tea maybe some elderflower or nice lemonade etc? X

I have done high tea. I have lots of old china so a nice old vintage tea set will look the place. Cake stands with small cut sandwiches on it, tea cakes, small cakes . Actually any sort of cake. I do cupcakes sometimes. Depends on who is coming and what they like too.
