Has anyone had a section due to pre-eclampsia?

As the title says really, has anyone had to have a section due to pre-eclampsia?
I have and now i'm wondering what will happen when i next get pregnant... Will i be offered a second section or will i be made to vbac? Does anyone know or is anyone wondering the same thing?

I did. Well they induced me because of it. I pushed for three hours and ended up with an emergency c-section.. I was also told that i could try either way next time.

thanks for your reply I'm hoping i get the option when i fall pregnant, im not sure what i'd choose...

I felt everything with my c-section. I even moved to the operating table for them. It was horrible. But, i would opt for another one on the condition that they don't start until i don't feel everything.

I was induced due to pre-eclampsia and it ended in a c section, I think it's possible to have either birth next time depending on circumstances. The MW at the hospital told me that if everything goes well in the pregnancy and my bp remains fine etc, then there's no reason why I couldn't have a vbac, but the slightest issue and I would have to have an elective c section. And also if I did try for a vbac if my bp showed any signs of increasing they'd take me for an emergency c section.
But sometimes it might depend on the particular hospitals policy.
Personally I think I will opt for an elective c section, I couldn't stand the thought of going through all that again to end in another EMCS, at least with a planned one I can be mentally prepared and have all the child care for my daughter in place whilst I recover.

Im currently WTT,and if im lucky to get pregnant again i deffo want an elec c section.I was induced for pre eclampsia and wouldnt dilate no more than 1cm in 3 days! so they couldnt even break my waters.It ended in an emergency section as i very very tired and distressed.The baby wouldnt move down either as my pelvis was quite small.
Im hoping i dont have to put up a fight to get an elective 2nd time round

I had an emergency c/s due to pre-eclampsia. I did attempt VBAC with my 2nd, but it failed and I ended up with a 2nd c/s

I had emergency action with 1st due to preeclampsia and had planned a vbac with number 2 however my body had other plans as I again developed severe preeclampsia which resulted in another emergency section xx
