Hi

We have been ttc for 4 years. I got told to lose weight before being re-referred to the nhs. I am 12lb away from this after already losing 3stone 4lb. Today I went to have my 21. Day bloods done again to see if my levels have improved just from losing weight alone. Has anyone else lost a lot of weight and noticed there levels increased significantly?
Thanks in advance

Firstly well done on the weight loss! I have lost 5st 5.5lbs so far and hasn't made a blind bit of difference to my hormones or my cycle much to my FS's disappointment (they think weight loss is the answer to most things!).

All my tests are considered 'Normal' and i am still 'unexplained' to them - to me i know what the issue is Short cycle of 23 days! But they don't take that seriously and i have had to fight to get clomid which i know will lengthen it! x

I haven't heard of losing weight increasing progesterone, but I think it can lower estrogen levels, because estrogen levels are related to body fat, so people who are overweight and estrogen dominant may become more balanced if they lower their body fat percentage.
