Hello ladies,
Anybody have endometriosis & managed to conceive? Can share your experience? Thanks. :)

Hi there,

I was diagnosed with endometriosis in Nov 1998, I was treated at the time of the lap and prescribed Nafarelin. 6 months later I concieved my son who is now 11 years old.
Have been TTC #2 since he was two years old, i had a mmc in '09 and no luck since, maybe I should ask for the nasal spray again?

Good Luck :BigHugs:

I fell pregnant at 17 and miscarried at 6 1/2 weeks. Got pregnant again straight away. After my daughter Amara was born my partner and i didnt use any protection. After 2 years like this i began to wonder why i wasnt pregnant plus intercourse was painful. Ended up being diagnosed with severe endometriosis and PCOS. I had 3 laperoscopys and a laperotomy and had reconstruction of my tubes and 3/4 of my right ovary taken out. Then 6 months of hormone treatment. After another 2 years of trying...still no luck...then out of the blue i got pregnant which was a complete shock. However i miscarried at 8 weeks. A month later got another positive pregnancy test....a week later was a negative...i;d had a chemical pregnancy. 3 months later and i'm now on 1st cycle of clomid....AF is due in 4 days so i'm hoping she doesnt come. But to answer your question.....yes you can get pregnant with endometriosis. Baby dust to you!!!

I just had an ovarian cyst removed about two weeks ago, and they found that I had endometriosis trapped by my pelvis.
Now I'm not sure how worried I should be about infertility. :(
The women in my family have never had an issue with fertility but maybe I'll be that one exception?

I probably shouldn't have googled endometriosis..

If it's been removed by laparoscopy, will it return?

Sometimes it can come back. They told me the best cure for endo is pregnancy....lol....gotta get pregnant first i told em. lol.

I had the severest grade most agonising endo, probably from my first periods when I was ten, though it wasn't diagnosed until 23. I had Zoladex for that, which helped quite a bit. I only ttc at about 35, and had recurrent miscarriages, but finally had my son at 38. I now don't really suffer from the symptoms of endo, though I haven't had a scan so don't know what's really going on in there! I now have a short luteal phase though; how many more gynae problems can one woman have? I just need PCOS and premature ovarian failure for a full house!
But to answer your question, yes, perfectly possible, even with the worst endo. Good luck!
xxx
