Hi,

Bit of background.......been trying since 2010 on and off. First preg was missed miscarriage Jan 2011. Got pregnant second time as soon as had first period (which did take a few months). Unfortunately our little boy died just before xmas last year. Have now been trying since July 2012 but my body has been weird!! Was on the pill. Had 6 weeks constant light to med bleeding so went to GP and she referred me for scan. I have a 4.6cm cyst on one ovary. Since 3 Sept no bleeding at all and no BFP. What is my body upto now??? Has anyone else ever had unusual things going on like this? (am to be referred to a consultant but not likely to see one before I become and OAP I reckon!) BTW am 39 nearly 40.

I had 2 cyst that formed I think around April. You can see how my LP went crazy starting by increasing then getting shorter. Next my AF got really light and shorter.

What happens is the cyst prevents you from secreting Progestrone and therefore making your lining get thinner.

My doc put me on Progestrone to try and get my overies to calm down and shrink the cyst. It worked the first month but mine were a little smaller than yours.

I did manage to get PG once when I had a cyst (mc at 12 weeks tho). I had to have the cyst operated on and the consultant told me that he didnt like pregnant women to have cysts as they may grow bigger and cause problems if they needed removing. I have not had a normal period since last August now and now have had nothing (nada, zilch) apart from CM and a positive Ov test (yes we did BD on the off chance that my body may be trying to work normally again!). Its been over two weeks and still no scan appointment to see whats happening so will need to track down my GP again

It would help if my body could do the normal stuff as I feel that I cant even try as I have no idea of what is going on inside!!!!
