Hey everyone...so please bare with me on this mouthful

!) So I'm 20, was told I could never get pregnant and if I did, 2-5% chance max, well I did with my ex of 2 years
He said he would be there, and of course after lies and all that, I'm still in love with him, therefore why a baby was created by accident
He said he'd contact me the next day and we were finally on good terms, then never contacted me again (I was 9 weeks along). From what I heard from his friends, he's been around with them and everything, but they wont tell me anything about what he's been doing. Just that he's been hanging with this girl I knew he was talking to and claimed he was "just friends" with (no I never believed it). I'm now 15 1/2 weeks and trying to get through that, but it still hurts mainly because I need a DNA done and I have no idea how to get a hold of him or anything, so I'm worried they'll never find him
2) I found out tonight that my best friend who I've been inseparable with since Sophomore year of Highschool (Would now be into our 3rd year of college) who also moved the hour to where we live now with me 2 years ago, is moving back home which is an hour away. I know it's not the end of the world, but she's really the one main person I rely on. She has a daughter as well and wants to be closer to her family to attempt to go back to school and she says she can get a better job, but honestly, she can't. She gets full time here without a degree (just a CNA in a top hospital) and makes quite a bit. I don't think she gets that :/ So I'm quite scared

Firstly, Congratulations and :hugs:
Secondly, where do you live? In the US if you apply for something like... lets say medicaid, they typically ask who the father is, if he pays support once bubs is born, etc. You give them his name, and they track him down. In New York State, the state actually sues the man themselves to ENSURE the woman is infact recieving child support for the child! They handle that much. Once in court, you could go through with like custody, dna, etc. Or all you need to serve him is home address. Is he still living with his parents? You could have him served there.
Im sorry hes put you through this. Try to enjoy the rest of your miracle pregnancy, and worry about court, dna, support, etc, later. After bubs is born and there is something you can do about it. :hugs:

I live in Iowa, and last I knew he was living with his sister. I know where his sister lives though, so if anything they could serve it to her and have her give it to him, right?

Congratulations on your pregnancy:)

I'm so sorry about FOB he sounds immature :( I agree enjoy your miracle and try not to stress, things have a way of falling into place :hugs:
