Hi ladies I just need a word of advice or to hear some success stories of low hcg levels in early pregnancy.

So on 10/29, I was exactly 4 weeks according to the date I conceived. However, I took a dollar tree test and a clearblue digi the night before and they were both bfp :happydance:. I woke up the next morning (10/29) and took the 2nd clear blue and it was -. So I then went in to my gynecologist the same day (I have SLE and a pacemaker so I'm considered a high risk) and had a blood test done. Got my results back Friday and my levels were at 30.

I'm really worried about this and the nurse seemed worried as well, but she just didn't want to upset me so she did not say it but she still confirmed a positive blood test and that I was indeed pregnant. Should I be worried about this low blood test especially since I took a clear blue one day and got a + and the next day and got a -? I have also taken multiple dollar store tests since then, last one being last night, and got a strong + this time. The others taken that Tuesday night were very very faint positives. What do you guys think?

I'm am very sick and worried about my baby and the waiting game sucks!

I think if you are getting strong positives then I think you are most definitely still pregnant, I think you got the - due to a fluctuation in you hcg, fluid intake affects hcg concentration and so does quantity, I find morning urine useless, 2nd or 3rd is usually best for me, and one level is useless you need more than one to be comparing, if your hcg is doubling you should be fine, but stop testing you will only get stressed x

Thanks so for your reply. I think you are absolutely right about the first morning urine for the clearblue test. The first time I used it, I got a "Pregnant" sign and I used it late in the evening. The next two times I got -'s and this was the FMU... At this point, I just don't know anymore. I just took another dollar tree test and got a positive again.

I also think you right that I need to stop testing. My husband is 47 years old and has never had a child. So this moment is so exciting for us. We are so happy and we just want to make sure this bean sticks!!

Also, I just did another blood draw for my hcg levels on Friday and will call for the results on Monday. Im hoping they are higher than 30 this time!!

Good luck for the results today lovely xx

Anything over 25 is considered pregnant, but the initial number doesn't matter as much as the follow up numbers do. Any word ?

didn't want to read and run. I hope everything's ok
