Does anyone know how long it will stay in your system after you give birth?

For some reason I think I remember being told 3-4 wks it stays in the system.. Not totally sure though!

Do you think you have a case of "Irish Twin" syndrome haha?

Well to be honest I hope not and I'm on birth control again I waited a week for the birth control to kick in and all that lovely stuff but I've been getting random migraines and feeling like I'm going to be sick. Just wondering if it's from a possible flu bug or maybe I'm that .1 %.... maybe I'm just paranoid but we can't afford another right now that's why I got on birth control!

Could it be side effects from the birth control? I'm on the POP (mini pill) as I'm breastfeeding and despite breastfeeding and taking the pill I got my period as a side effect of it. Not sure if I ovulated so ill be using OPKs to see this month. We cant afford another right now either but I'm far to sore to be doing anything even at 6wks pp (stitches).

Migraines are often associated as a side effect of all birth control types, so is nausea.. Actually I think your supposed to contact your doctor if it makes you nauseous. And remember even if you took the same BC before it can affect your body differently this time.

It's a different one from my usual it's the mini pill as well we chose it because it's breast feeding friendly. I haven't had any bleeding or anything since I started it. But I am just starting my first week of my second pack.... now that you mention it this was during the "period" week of my birth control. I am feeding on demand and pumping at work. I haven' had any type of spotting or bleeding though during that week though she did say it can be expected as I'm bfing

I have a hcg check at 6 and 10 weeks after each pregnancy, it's expected to be back to normal by 10 weeks but going by my last 7 pregnancies it's usually just about clear by the 6 week one. Xx
