I've been so anxious about losing this pregnancy after a chemical in December. 7 week ultrasound looked good and the dr found the hb on the doppler at 10.5 weeks, it was 160 bpm. I'm 29 and healthy but still so worried that something will happen between now and my 12 week ultradound.

I guess I'm just wondering - is hearing the hb a good sign? Do chances of m/c decrease at all?

I am sorry for your loss. Yes, hearing the HB is one of the first steps of the viability of a pregnancy. It might never stop the worry though, but you and lo's chances are amazing. Kick your feet up and enjoy your pregnancy. Wishing you a H&H 9 months!

Yep, hearing a strong heartbeat after 7 weeks decreases the chance of m/c by a lot :flower:

I hope so as that's what I want to hear on Thursday! No APPT yet so reassurance will be nice!

Yep! The worry never goes away but if you don't have any bleeding or cramps you can safely assume that your baby is growing well!
