heart rate and other predictiona

So yesterday my hubby and I had our first scan at 8 wks 4 days Heart rate was 169. I was never into this gender prediction with my last two pregnancies but a friend of mine has been filling me in on the large list of craziness. She swears by the needle and thread and also the heart rate theory was also accurate for her 3 pregnancies
So far almost every theory points to girl:
HEARTRATE 169= GIRL
NEEDLE AND THREAD= GIRL
HAIRLINE TEST= GIRL
MAYAN THEORY= GIRL
CHINESE CALENDAR= GIRL ( ive done every one on the internet I think)
BRAZILIAN THRORY= BOY

Which did you find most accurate?

They didnt give us a pic this time. Stinks. We will be having an in office ultrasound on Monday. The one we had Tues was in a radiology office to check out some spotting that was happening.

The mayan theory is
Moms age and year - if both are odd or even = girl
If one if odd and one is even= boy

Brazilian I cant remember off the top of my head but I think it goes by the month and year
Similarnto the mayan. This was correct with my first 2 girls and is the only one that predicts boy this time

The heart rate theory was right for me, my baby's heart rate has always been above 150 and it's a girl. The chinese calendar was wrong, and I just tried the mayan for me and that is also wrong. It's always fun to do these little tests, but only a doctor can tell you for sure
