Hello :hi: do you have room for another?

Well, I was going to start with a big catch up on how I've got to where I am now and what's been happening over the last few months ...... So I decided to work on 'the journey' offline, I've reached 3 pages and figure that actually, just typing it all out has got rid of some of the frustration and it's time to start looking forward, not going over what's been before.

So this is me. Some of you may remember me, I recognise a few familiar faces :friends: and I confess I've even stalked a few times without actually logging in . I think (I hope anyway) the break has done me some good.

Briefly, for those who don't know me (and there seem to be alot of names I don't recognise ) I'm 37, DH is 42 and we've been TTC since December 2007. We started the investigation process at the beginning of this year, had some ups and downs, met some great people in the NHS system and also met some basket cases!

Last week we had what felt like our first proper consultation and the big news is we're currently waiting for AF to start ICSI!!!!!!!! Which now I'm here is really rather scary - does that sound silly?

Assuming you're happy for me to join you here in LTTC, does anyone know how I go about moving my journal?

Anyway, that's me for now. I'm gonna have a nosy around and catch up on some old friends and see how they're doing.

Hi snowdrop ... Long time no see/speak/hear

sorry you're in this part of the forum now, but there's definitely plenty of room at the inn. I know what you mean about loads of new names ... I feel as though all the old names have moved along, and little old me has got left behind. I had a short visit to 1st tri (all of 4 days) and then it was decided it wasn't my time to move on.

Good luck for your treatment. i know exactly what you mean about it being scary ... that feeling doesn't go away second time around, but hopefully you'll not need to worry about that.

Hi Maz! It's soooooo good to see a friendly face so soon. I'm really glad you're online and have found me so quickly.

Sorry to hear you've had a tough time, this whole business really does suck doesn't it!

Catch up soon with all your news :hugs:

BTW ... I think you can get your journal moved ... If you message one of the mods they'll be able to keep you right.

Not a lot happening for me right now ... just waiting for the NHS to get their act together. I'll stalk your journal instead and obsess over your treatment ... that'll put the days in until my treatment starts.

Hey snowdrop! Big congrats on being so close to start your ICSI!
I hope your stay here is short and sweet with a :bfp: in a few weeks time! :yipee:

Welcome back, and good luck with you ICSI, I have my fingers crossed for you xx

Awww, thanks for all your kind words.

It's good to be back, which probably sounds weird as I wouldn't wish where we all are on anyone, but hopefully you know what I mean.

And anyway, if we're going to be LTTC I'm sure there isn't a better place to be than here at BnB
