I can't believe it!

Where's best to start as far as planning goes? I'm totally clueless

Also is there anyone else here that's planning/planned to have a small wedding? I'm not one for fuss, I just want it to be small and only close relatives/friends.

I'd say decide where you want to get married and have the recpetion.
Im also having a small wedding it is literally family and our 6 closest friends.

well. the first thing you need to do is set a date!! lol
then you'll need to decide a theme or style.
Then select a venue.

We are having a small do too. 40 of our closest friends and family and no extras to the evening so the same people all the way through. We have hired a boutique hotel for exclusive use from the Sunday lunch time through till the Monday afternoon so it should be lovely. The numbers can't rise as we have specifically chosen a venue that can't have more people!

We got engaged on 3rd October and get married on the 10th October next year - so far we have given our notice to marry, booked the venue, bought OHs bespoke suit, bought the favours, bought my shoes, some ivory brollies, some table diamonds, sorted our photographer, sourced wedding rings and gone to Choccywoccydoodahs about our cake so a fair bit really. Like you, we don't want a stress so we are just doing it now so that in a few months, its all done and we don't have to get in a tiz about it nearer the time!!
