Hi everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself and the long term journey I am on.

My name is Crystal but everyone calls me Crys (Chris)DH and I have been married 2 1/2 years and have been ttc for 18 (now I'm on cycle 19) months. I've been off bc since we got married.

I was on another forum but there was no long term support group and there was way too much drama on there! I am so excited to be on this board with you ladies - I feel like this board is the one I've been needing. Each month that goes unsuccessfull I get more and more frustrated!
Next month I have an appointment with my ob gyn for fertility testing etc.

I look forward to getting to know you all and your journeys as well!
Xo
Crys

Hello Chris don't know If I'm really aloud in here as its only been 11 months since my hubby's vasectomy reversal but it feels like a lifetime. Wanted to reply anyway because I saw that you posted yesterday and had no replies. I'm feeling so down today, it must seem ridiculous to those with no children as we do have three little boys from before the vasectomy but after a traumatic birth with our youngest we made the huge mistake of the vasectomy.

Feeling very low today and don't know how much more I can take. Our surgeon says his semen analysis is fine but the nhs disagree and say his antibodies deem him infertile so we are saving for Icsi fertility treatment with egg sharing. Just long for another baby so badly!

Wishing you all the luck in the world at your fertility appointment xx

Hey teacher.
You may find sometimes this board is a bit slow, but you are not being ignored.

Wanted to welcome you and wish you much luck. I know the first step can be frightening but it is the first step in getting your baby, and can be very helpful in diagnosing any issues that you may secretly have. How you have a great day

Hi teacher,

welcome, ltttc can be a very lonely and isolating experience, its coming up to 3 years for me and I have different emotions about it every day! Today I'm feeling positive!

This is a good place to vent your frustrations and ask any questions. I found the normal ttc board too upsetting as people on there tend to be in their 2nd to 3rd month of trying!!

Good luck

Thanks! That's okay- I usually don't get on the boards more than 2/3 times day. Truthfully, I am pretty nervous about the dr appointment but hopefully it'll go well :)

Oh my! 3 years! I can't imagine! Yes, ltttc has been getting pretty lonely but I'm hopeful it'll happen just not as fast as I want it too!

I am coming into four years this June ... It has been the longest but surprisingly fast time in my life. So many things have happened, yet nothing at all at the same time. If I can give you any advise it would be live your life, don't plan for the what if. Go on vacations, have a glass of wine, enjoy yourself. This can be a long road, but you can get through it. Hope the tests are helpful

Hello Crys,

I am just now going through testing after 4 years of trying ( quit for a while then decided to give it another go). So far I've done HSG, SA for hubby, and Bloodwork. Results have been slowly coming in. The fertility testing has actually made me feel a lot better about ltttc this time around. I hope you get some answers soon!

Hey crys.... Good luck with your journey :))
We have been trying 5.5 yrs currently filing first Cycle of Icsi because of my pcos and hubby's issues x
