Poppy is 4 weeks today and this past couple of days she has been dribbling so much during feeds we have to change her clothing x it's a nightmare when out. I have changed to tommee tippee variflow teats as she was always falling asleep on the bottle with number 1 teats but it hasn't helped (she also dribbled slot with these). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions?
Thanks in advance x

It sounds like the flow is too fast for her. I use Avent so not sure how TT teat sizes go. I know Avent do size 1, 2, 3 & also a variflow type thing. Do TT do a size 2 rather than variflow? It might be worth trying a different teat.

Just stick to size 2 teats, the dribbling will get better, your baby just needs to get used to the different teat. I'd give it afew more days, maybe even a week.

When my baby moved up to size 2 teats, she was dribbling milk like a mad woman but keep at it and you will find she dribbles less as she gets used. :)

We go through phases of dribbles - we've found it tends to be more our Avent bottles WITHOUT the colic ring (the coloured ones) and it tends to be more the ready to drink carton milks than the ones made up from powder - but it can just be randomly one feed she decides is a dribbly one with no rhyme or reason.
