Oh jeeeeez I'm in agony here.
Took a bowl of water with rice in it out of the microwave and lifted the cling film and burnt my two fingers. Its so bloody sore. Have tried running it under tap, holding in water but it feels like its getting worse not better.

Anyone got a quick fix? Its really sore. TIA x

I used Germolene when I burnt my fingers on my straightners and it caused the biggest horrible blister ever and it was so painful it was unbelievable and it's an antiseptic with anaesthetic and helped numb the pain while helping it heal. Would definitely recommend it :) x

If you have any sudocreme it works wonders!!

Thanks ladies :) The only cream I had in the house was Sudocream so have slathered some of that on it. Its feeling better already, phew! Note to self - stock up on first aidy bits!

Thanks again x

Burns are awful! They can throb for ages afterwards, too. I keep aloe vera gel on hand and a special dressing for blisters called second skin:

It has really helped me when I've burned myself in the past. Not sure if it's available in the UK or not, but I'm sure there is something similar. Something to think about when you are out buying first aidy bits? :)

Thanks Sarah, totally forgot about Aloe Vera! My mum used to have a plant we'd snap a leaf from and rub the gel on a burn. Will also look for the dressings :) x
