HELP! Clomid effects or bfp??

I originally posted this in the two week wait but got nothing... Guessing a lot of the women there might not be to the point where they are on Clomid... First cycle of Clomid and I need help with knowing what to expect. Please have a read and let me know what ya think.... THANKS for reading

Sooo, first of all, I know the common answer here would be to test but I just can't yet. Now for the story of what's happening...
We have been ttc for about 17months now and September was my first cycle of Clomid. I did fairly well on it, maybe just a little heat wave once in a while which could have also been our beautiful September weather? Af is due today, cd28. She is usually fairly punctual if not a lil early. I started having cramping last Friday morning and therefore have been expecting her ever since. Went running Saturday night and found a little bit of red upon a cp check when I got back. A little more the next day but never enough to show on my panties (tmi) and then went back to a white discharge. There has been a little red off and on since. Today, due day, I am having a mix of just white discharge and then a little red/pink mixed in it. Been feeling off and on crampy a few times over the last couple days but nothing much. Bbs have been slightly sore which is normal before af but HOLY nipples!! DH thinks I am always on high beam these days. And the bumps around them are a little more pronounced. No nausea, some fatigue... Sounds crazy and it's probably just my mom but she looked at me yesterday and asked if I started my period or not cause my eyes look different. Now I know there is nothin that would change but eyes but geez, everyone has a weird story so I thought I'd share. I also had a really weird burst of a cold sore on my top lip a week ago... Never get those! And a stuffy nose...

So back to the testing part... I have seen too many bfns and have always jumped to test too quick. This time I am just waiting it out to see if I actually do end up with a late period.... If it doesn't show by Friday or even Saturday then it's game on. I guess for once I want to be able to go buy a test with real true hopes that it will lead to a bfp. Really need it to be bfp.

Thoughts?? Any at all?? Any Clomid users with similar side effects?

I've never experienced those side effects while I was on clomid....sounds encouraging though I hope you get your BFP!

I got my AF at 16 DPO with my first round of clomid 2 weeks ago,I usually start spotting from 10-11 DPO. I felt the same & didn't want to test as I was too scared to see a BFN again which is very unlike me-I generally do a test early every month. I did one at 15 DPO which was BFN then AF arrived the next day. Now waiting to O again. Fingers crossed that this isn't a false alarm. Good luck xxx

On my 3rd month of clomid my AF started showing up
1-2 days late ( and I was always on time). So it's possible the meds will affect you days-but I hope this is just a BFP for you

I'm on my second round, 3 dpo, and i didn't have your symptoms... i think. I did spot and then it stopped and started though.

im on my second round of clomid 5dpo and i got headaches grumpy n mega hot flushes .but hoping its gonna be worth it .have u tested yet

I hope that you are so busy planning for the new baby that you haven't had time to update us whether you tested or AF came but I will offer my experience, though not very encouraging. I started Clomid days 5-9 last month and experience side effects very similar to yours (few hot flashes, little tired and VERY sensitive nipples). I normally have a 28 day cycle but last month it was 31 days. I started OPK day 10 and got a positive that day but negatives everyday after that. This month I am on Clomid again, no side effects whatsoever, I have been using OPK since day 10 and so far negative (CD 15 today). One of the gals on another thread O'd CD 21 and got pregnant after 3 rounds. Hard to say, but everyone seems to be so different, even from month to month. Sorry I couldn't help, baby dust your way if not this time, the next!

I received my AF anywhere from CD24 to CD35. Most FS's recommend not testing until CD35 as Clomid can change your cycles.
