Help - confused about opk’s

Hi ladies

My youngest is nearly 5 so it’s been a while since I’ve used opks I’m getting confused my IC opks say not to use fmu but my clear blue ones say to use fmu ??? What is correct? Also when you get a positive result does that
Mean you have ovulated or you will be soon?

Ideally, you should test around the same time every day, between 11AM and 8PM is best.

Once you receive a positive result, you'll typically ovulate 12-24 hours later, although the full range is 6-36, depending on what part of your surge you caught with the OPK.

I really recommend the Fertility Friend app. It has a tutorial that covers every aspect of fertility tracking!

IC cheapies is like Dill said 11-8 PM. Test at the same time each day. I normally tested at 11:30 and 6:30 pm (when I got home from work). Clearblue one's I would test with SMU not FMU and both cycles I have used them now I got a Solid Smiley face at 11:30 AM but I think everyone is different so maybe test twice a day until you see what is normal for you GOOD luck!

I don’t want to take over this thread but rather than create another as I have a similar question... my OH has been away... and is due back tomorrow... I tested for OV today and got a solid smilie face and positive on another... is it highly likely if he is back tomorrow night I’ve missed my window? ������

Thank you. I will test again this evening to see if I still get a positive result and hopefully the OH won't get back too late to try!
