Help! Confused about Ramzi

This is my 8 week ultrasound. It's transvaginal so I was told you hold the pic up to your stomach so you can tell which side is which. My doctor said it looks like the placenta is forming in my upper left part of my uterus - right above the yolk sac. If I'm correct in my understanding that means a girl according to Ramzi right?
