My 13 mointh old is having a fussy phase and its driving me crackers!

He used to eat pretty much anything savoury or sweet and we were getting to stage 3 foods but now he's fussing over savoury options and favouring fruit and natural yoghurt. Having to try distracting him with toys to feed him which doesn't always work.

This is his diet at the moment:

Breakfast - big bowl of museli followed by small piece of toast
10:00am - cows milk
12:00 - hot meal I.e. chicken and veg squished up followed by fresh fruit and natural yoghurt, pulped not pureed
3:00pm snack and squash
5:00pm similar to lunch but different food choices
7:00pm bottle and bed

I'm trying to get him to have sandwiches for lunch but he refuses to even taste them!!

Help as I'm out of ideas!

I didn't want to read and run but I think I'm a mean mummy in this regard, if she doesn't eat what I give her she just doesn't eat till next mealtime, suffice to say she still will eat pretty much anything I give, but in her own way now. With sandwiches she likes to remove the filling then eat the bread. I think the best approach is to just keep offering in a relaxed way and dont react if its refused because that can be a counter-measure.

Good luck anyway :hugs:

I've used ice cube trays but now he's older i use the pots the pureed fruit and other desserts come in to freeze portions in.
