Hi, I'm a new mum! Erin is 5 days old and I had wanted to breastfeed but she's also quite a lazy baby and it hasn't worked out. OH has been out and bought some formula to top up any milk that I can express. On the instructions it says, to make up a feed boil the kettle and let it cool for 30 mins. Use the feed within 2 hours.
So, just to clarify - I can't make up bottles in advance and warm them from the fridge when I need them!!??? This will be awful during the night as we have to wake her to feed every 3 hours, getting up 30 mins before each feed to let the kettle cool will mean even less sleep than we're getting already!
I'd always assumed that you could make up bottles in advance!? Help!!
