OH is convinced we're having a girl and has his heart set on two names. I really love both but not sure either sound right with his surname. The middle name is decided but won't be used except for on the birth certificate. What do you ladies think:

Orla/Orlaith Louise Love
Neeve/Niamh Louise Love

I would say Orla as itll be the easiest to pronounce. Neeve is not a nice spelling and isnt really a direct phonetic translation of Niamh, theres almost two syllables in Niamh, Nee-uv. Ive heard Niamhs have great difficulty with people pronouncing their name in the UK so I just wouldnt give her the hassle. I love both Niamh and Orla though, two of my best friends names :)

Thanks. If we go with either of those they would most likely be spelt properly - Orlaith or Niamh x

There are a lot of men named neeve (Nev) so I would say orla.... what does it mean?

I love both names. I also like the spelling Orlagh.

Both are really pretty names - I'm from Scotland too and they both sound lovely with Scottish accents :) I'd go with Niamh as it seems to flow better with Love than Orlaith x
