Hello all!

I am in my cycle#2 doing home insemination.

I have a question for those using preseed and softcups....

Do you put some preseed inside of you and than some in softcup also?

If you doing insemination, do you put some in a cup too? in a syringe?

Help me! hurry inseminating again tonight

Hey iBeach,

I'm currently on my tww from my 3rd cycle of AI. I tend to put the preeseed inside whilst my donor is off doing his thing. I then inseminate, leaving the syringe in for 30mins to an hour. After that, I take the syringe out and put the soft cup in then get up

I've heard it's best to not use the toilet for an hour or so. So try to go before. Also, some have suggested not having a bath for the next 24 hours.

Oh and I used to offer my donor a sterile cup but he was happy to do it into the syringe (still not sure how lol), and then rest the syringe in a cup.

I usually put it in when my donor goes and does the job about 15 minutes later I put semen in syringe and I also put some preseed in a softcup....I put half semen inside me via syringe and other half in softcup

I've never tried putting the semen in the softcup, but I have heard of women doing it. I might try next time How often do you inseminate? Both cycles I inseminated twice, id like to get 3 or 4 if I could lol.

Previous cycle we inseminated 4 times, but no luck...
This cycle we only did one, due to my donor traveling plans, but if it doesn't work out, next cycle we will do 4 or 5 again.

I am not 3DPO and waiting to see, but this month I am completely calm, and not hoping, because I got positive OPK on Wednesday morning and we didn't inseminate until Thursday evening..., so I wonder if we could have caught it....

How about you? where are you in you cycle?

It's been a while. I've been off dealing with my mental cycles I've just finished an anovulatory cycle that was exceptionally long but hopefully everything's back on track!

I'm currently on cd9 waiting to o.

Hello girls cycle #3 is ending im sure my two bfn are definite booowhooo waiting for the witch anyday now currently cd29 of 30 day avg cycles although i did get a positive opk cd 11 dont think i caught my egg this cycle m, hoping to get preseed and soft cups lets hope it will help just wanted to follow u girls

Hello girlies!!!

This is cycle #3...we only did 1 insemination last cycle. And it was one day after ovulation...so, that didn't work out so well...

I should be ovulating in 2/3 days...not sure. Didn't use OPK this cycle. I am feeling sick and taking antibiotics..so I thought I was out, but just spoke to my donor and we decided we will do one insemination tomorrow! YAAAY!!!.......I will use OPK later today if I can hold it for a while or tomorrow morning and see...

I hope this cycle is lucky one for all of us!!!

It is kinda hard if we don't have spermies available at home all the time, but my donor is freaking tastic aka fantastic)) we will co-parent, so he wants it just as bad.

I put preseed in the cup, gave cup to donor, drove home with jewels between the tatas, sucked up in syringe, butt up on pillow, slowly pushed swimmers in and left syringe in to keep them there for 5-10mins then soft up for an hour.

Got pregnant with only two donations this cycle . My donor was just a guy I found on a donor site.

iBeach - Hope you catch that egg this cycle. I know what you mean, it's so hard for us seeing as we cant just bd every day. It all has to be timed to perfection, but it does just take that one spermy so fx for you

KylasBaby - Gosh you're lucky! Defniitely gives me hope. I'm always worrying about every little detail being perfect. I might have to inseminate at work this cycle if I o during the week. My donor can only make it during my lunch break lol.

I found my donor on a site. We wont be co-parenting, but he is a lovely guy. Lives quite close so I'm hoping to get a few donations in this cycle.

Thank you melody, im still awaiting ad cd31 i really dont want to test anymore i had taken a plan b in November which im sure made made my December cycle long then i had a 26 day cycle in January now feb im wondering how it will go

Well I hope it is good news!

I started taking Vitex and it stopped me from o'ing last month. My last cycle was 58 days. It was horrible. But im hopeful about this cycle. x

Soooooo, we did inseminate yesterday early evening...My donor always comes over to my place, does it in the bedroom or bathroom and hands it to me still warm ( sorry TMI). And I put in inside me right away.
I didn't really count this month as an option due to me being sick and taking antibiotics, but I said, hey, lets just do one and see.

He started taking sperm booster vitamins yesterday, and we hope to do 3-4 inseminations next cycle...I will also use OPK to make sure we time it right.

I have a boyfriend, but he had vasectomy about 20 years ago, and there is no way of reversal to be successful, so that's why we are using a donor. My donor is gay and has been in relationship for about 23 years! We all cant wait to be parents together.
