me and oh really really cant agree on names whatsoever he likes sarah,kirsty,emma very plain names (no offence to any1 naming their baby this they just not my choice)
i really like....
lacey
poppy
harlow
matilda
madeline
milly
mazie

but he will not consider any of these

the only names we (sort of) agree on are ella and lilly which are sooooooo popular over the last few yrs!
our little boy is lewis any suggestions would be great as i think i may have to kill him soon!

Its so difficult when u both like complete opposites we had the same prob with my son, we have gone thru the name book over and over and he just sits and goes 'no', 'no', 'no' to every name i say, annoying man! hope ur in my shoes soon hun xx

Me and OH had exactly the same problem! You'll get there in the end! I was about 38 weeks when we finally decided on names!

We had exactly the same problem and a couple of my faves are on your list too (Madeleine and Millie)!! Daisy was one of our compromise names, and Daisy it is . I do love it, but she still looks like a little Phoebe to me . If you really love a name then try to stick to your guns . xx

How about going with somethnig like Emily or Amelia then you can call her Milly but her actual name is still traditional?

he just will not compromise! the baby will prob have the middle name kathleen after his late mum so he has his choice there and i cant really argue with that, we spoke 2nite and both like laila/layla, what does every1 think?

Millies cute so is laila if you like Elle or lilly why not change it aka Elouise or lilly-may? see i really liked Elle but is soooo popular i went for Elsie so can call her El lol its so frustrating trying to find the right name! good luck xx

I really like alot of your name choices: Lilly, Lacey, Harlow, & Emma... all sooo pretty!

I think you should just keep looking thru books & searching online until you both agree on a name that you both LOVE!

Maybe you can come up with a fun spin on one of the traditional names you like!

I really like Layla / Leila by the way -- and if you both agree on it -- go for it! Start calling bump that & see if it sticks!
