Help! Menopur mixing!

Hi ladies!

I was taking menopur and mixing 1mL saline with the vial of medicine. I totally spaced and forgot that last cycle I was told by my doctor to mix it with 1/2mL. Last cycle I responded quickly, this cycle on CD11 I still had no follicles.

I'm confused how using more saline could hurt it. I'm still injecting the same amount of medication, just with more liquid. Like if you were to mix a shot of vodka with a shot of water and drank the whole thing, you still took a shot of vodka. Any help?

Anyone experience responding fairly well one cycle and then not responding at all on another cycle? My first menopur cycle I had a 15mm follicle on day 7!

The amount of saline shouldn't matter. They probably originally just had you do 1/2ml because it was less for you to inject. My clinic said it was up to me 1/2ml or 1ml to mix it with.

Thank you!! That's what I was thinking as they gave me the little needles/syringes that only held about 1/2mL. Someone else said otherwise and I got nervous!
