Hi
I have just bought these and milk appears to leak out when warming in hot water, please can you offer any advice (no microwave!) as these seem to be good bottles for my very windy 3 week old!
Thanks
Joss C

Hiya I use these too and u r right u can't warm up in water as theyvhave air holes at the bottom, they are great bottles though..
I warm up milk in a different bottle or container (mug in the microwave at mo) and transfer to the mam one when ready, my LO is much older though so don't need to worry about sterility so much..
Not sure if that helps much! Good luck xx

hey yes they do leak when you put them in hot water.if you dont want to use the microwave then maybe pre fill the bottle half with water aand let it cool.put in fridge.when your lo wants it just add fresh boiled water.thet way it will be the perfect temp.then add the powder. xx

I use a bottle warmer with Dr brown bottle and it makes it leak as well. I just take the top off and the tube out while it is warming then assemble it when it is done!

Yes I found that with the Dr Brown and also had to leave the water cooling for 30 mins at least - I think the tube inside drew the hot water up.
I was going to suggest 2/3 filling the bottles and then putting some of the freshly boiled water in a flask, and topping up when you're ready to go! I used to do this when I went out - In a 5oz feed I'd put 4oz in and top up 1oz of the water from the flask - I filled the flask as soon as the water had boiled x

my natural nurser does the same thing - I heat it up in a different bottle and then transfer it over

I use Dr Brown, and like others have said, taking the middle tube out stops it, as this draws up the milk. Pain in the ass!
