Help needed, how to get whites, white??

DS's polo shirts for school are terrible, they are more like grey, and he has got stains on the from school that just won't come out, I have tried washing them many times on a hot white wash, and nothing, I have tried soaking them in powder specifically for getting things whiter.

Please help, I feel like such a bad mummy sending him into school looking grubby!!

I tried Milton Sterilising Fluid to get some white bibs white again. It worked a treat, I left to soak for about 30 mins in cold water then washed as normal, all the stains came out.

Napisan is meant to be good too x

i've left some greyed things in a weak bleach solution in the bath over night. it did the trick. obviously there can't be any colour on anything at all as it would be stripped off.

napisan is good.. as pp said try bleach aslong as there is no colour to be kept or it will be stripped off. x

Try adding soda crystals everytime you do a white wash too.

Thank you, will try these, he has come home today with what looks like spaghetti stains!! I wouldn't mind but he stays pack up!

I found bleach good with a lot of stains but beware of soaking things too long as it breaks down things like elastic in the clothes

Soaking in vanish powder works too (instructions on back of tubs)
