Okay so I have a very healthy very active 9 month old. Doc has been trying all sorts of different medications to help with my back pain (severe arthritis and 4 unrepairable bulged discs) I've gotten ulcers from the amount of Tylenol and ibuprofen I have to take with minimal lortab, it didn't even take the edge off. He gave me low dose fentanyl patches and told me it was okay to bf. I trusted what he said, he is a doc, but I've been doing reading and I can't find anything about 9-12 month olds nursing and being on the patch. All the reports are on newborns and only short term. Help!

Jack Newman is also an international breastfeeding expert based in Canada. His response time is very quick.
