help please- 36 weeks and light blood when i wipe!

I'm 36 weeks. Just went to loo and when I wiped there was light red blood. Nothing in knickers. Slightly freaked out! Had a few sharp pains down low/vagina tonight but thought it was baby head butting bladder. Amy ideas? A bit worried especially as hubby is away. Didn't get this with my first. I did have a large lump of snotty discharge about 6 hours ago but no blood in that. This is just blood no pluggy kinda stuff. Baby moving normally

ide get checked hun just going by the discharge and how far along you are, it would be the safest bet good lyck

I called and going in for a quick check. Always worrying I'm wasting time.

Yeah I would call. I don't know about "bloody show" and the mucas plug as this is my first, but I would assume its something related to that. But good your going in to get the opinion of an expert.

oh hun, no! its your baby we are talking about! you are 36 weeks, going into labor is entirely possible, getting checked will ease your mind keep updated

So after two speculum exams its cervical bleeding from hormones. Cervix closed. Baby ok
